Super Chia Seed Raspberry Lemonade April 08 2015

Chia seeds are often referred to as nature’s secret medicine, and if you look at their nutritional value, you will see why! Our favourite superfood is packed full of Omega-3 fatty acids, protein, calcium, fibre and iron, meaning it is a great way to get all the nutrients you need! When combined with liquid, Chia seed forms a gel like substance which aids in digestion, as well as keeping you fuller for longer. Chia seeds are also known for boosting your physical energy, meaning this healthy lemonade is the perfect way to start your day! We served ours in THESE cute Mason Jars!



2 tablespoons Super Chia seed (Available from

350ml Coconut Water

1 Lemon

½ cup Raspberries



-Crush your raspberries using a mortar and add to a glass.

-Chop your lemon in half and squeeze in to the glass.

-Add your Super Chia seed in to the glass and fill with the Coconut water.

-Stir, and then leave your water to sit in the fridge overnight.

-Take your lemonade out in the morning and enjoy!
