You’ve heard of Chia, right? You see foodies sprinkling them onto their cereals and blending them up into smoothies. They’re everywhere! But why? Founded by the Aztecs, Chia seeds have long been recognized for their nutritional values. In fact, the Aztecs use to eat a handful of the seeds before they went to war as it gave them slow releasing energy! For a long time, Chia Seeds were of higher value than gold to the Aztecs!
