Our very own Super British Bake-Off Recipe September 04 2015

With a certain British baking programme currently gracing our screens, its hard not to want to try your own hand at baking. If you didn’t see it, this week the contestants were challenged to bake without some vital ingredients – gluten, sugar and dairy. Here’s our recipe that meets all these requirements in just one bake!
And if your going to do it, you may as well do it right. Right? That's why we created this delicious mini vegan chocolate tart recipe. With a crunchy base and a ganache-esque filling, you can’t go wrong with this beauty. It also contains our very own Super Cocoa Powder and Super Flaxseed, giving you some added nutrients for a more healthy dessert.
Here’s what you are going to need...
For the crust:
-2 tbsp. Super Flaxseed
-2 tbsp. coconut oil
-50g almond butter
-4 large dates
-1 tsp. vanilla extract
For the filling:
-25g Super Cocoa powder
-1 ripe avocado
-2 tsp. vanilla extract
-2 tbsp. honey
-4 tbsp. coconut oil
And here’s how you make it...
-In a food processor, blend all the nuts together, then add the rest of the base ingredients.
-Grease a muffin tray and then press the base mixture into and up the sides of the muffin tray.
-Add all of the filling ingredients in to the a food processor and blend until smooth.
-Pour the filling into the tart bases and refrigerate for 2 hours.
-Top with toppings of your choice (we chose blueberries and crushed almonds)
