The best chocolate bark you will ever taste... October 15 2015

It’s National Chocolate Week, which is the perfect excuse to satisfy that sweet tooth (not that we really need one!). This delicious vegan chocolate bark, packed full of nutritious goji berries, chia seeds and cranberries, is the perfect combination of tasty and healthy. So get out your mixing bowl and let’s get cracking…



Here are the ingredients you are going to need…

-170g Super Cocoa Powder

-1 tbsp. Super Chia Seeds

-75g coconut oil

-100g cocoa butter

-3 tbsp. maple syrup

-1 tbsp. almond butter

-Pinch sea salt

-2 tbsp. sesame seeds

-Handful pistachio nuts

-Handful dried cranberries

-1 tsp. vanilla extract


And here’s how you do it…

-Melt the cocoa butter and coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in the vanilla extract, almond butter, and maple syrup.

-Remove from heat when all combined and stir in the cocoa powder and sea salt.

-Pour on to a lined baking tray and top with pistachio nuts, dried cranberries, chia seeds and sesame seeds.

-Put into the freezer for 20 minutes, or until frozen.

-Remove from the freezer, break into small pieces and enjoy.

-Keep the rest of what you are not eating in the freezer as this melts fast.
