Our delicious s’mores cake will ignite a fire in your belly this bonfire night… November 05 2015

 

Bonfire night is here!!! And you know what bonfires mean? Well s’mores of course. And sure, s’mores haven't always been the healthiest snack… well until now that is. We’ve come up with our very own, healthier option s’mores microwave cake. Not only is it full of delicious nutritious ingredients (like our very own Super Eleven Shake and Super Flaxseed) but it also takes just 1 minute to cook! Finding it hard to believe? Well you’re just going to have to give it a try…

 

 

 

Here are the ingredients you are going to need...

-1 tbsp. Super Flaxseed

-1 tsp. Super Eleven Shake

-1 tbsp. Super Cocoa Powder

-3 tbsp. water

-1 gluten-free graham cracker, crushed

-Pinch of baking powder

-½ tsp. vanilla extract

-1 tbsp. milk (nut, soya or dairy)

-1 tsp. maple syrup

-30g oat flour

-Handful marshmallows (vegan marshmallows available HERE)

-Handful dark chocolate chips

 

And here’s how you do it...

-Combine the flaxseed with the water and leave to the side to form a flax egg.

-In a small bowl, mix together Super Eleven Shake, cocoa powder, the crushed graham cracker, baking powder, vanilla extract, milk, maple syrup, oat flour, and the flaxseed egg until well combined.

-Grease a small bowl/mug and place half of the marshmallows in to the bottom of it, then pour the batter mixture on top.

-Sprinkle your chocolate chips on the top and then pour the remaining marshmallows over that.

-Microwave for 1 minute, or for a crunchier alternative, bake on 180°C for 15 minutes, then enjoy.
