Vegan? Vegetarian? Meat-free Mondays? Well behold! We’ve got the perfect meatless recipe for you. Our spicy bean burgers are packed full of tasty beans and veggies, as well as our very own Super Flaxseed. So if you’re looking for a dish that packs a nutritious punch, this is the one for you…
Here are the ingredients you are going to need...
For the burger:
-2 tsp. Super Flaxseed
-1 medium sweet potato (boiled)
-1 tin black beans
-1 chopped red onion
-2 cloves garlic
-1 Tsp. onion granules
-1 tsp. paprika
-Pinch of salt & pepper
-½ tsp. oregano
-½ tsp. cayenne pepper
-½ tsp. cumin
-½ tsp. chilli powder
-100g chickpeas (cooked)
For the toppings:
-Sliced red onion
-Burger buns (vegan buns available HERE)
And here’s how you do it...
-Add all of the burger ingredients into a food processor and combine, leaving chunky.
-Shape your burgers and then fry over medium heat with a little oil for a few minutes on each side.
-Cut the buns in half and layer with sliced onion, lettuce, and sliced tomato.
-Put the burger into the bun and enjoy!
