    Super Festive Eggnog Chia Pudding December 18 2014


     It's not christmas without Eggnog, which is why all of us at have created this super healthy  Eggnog Chia Pudding! Simply Delicious!



     Serves: 4



     3 tablespoons chia seed

     (We recommend

     4 egg whites

     3 cups almond milk

     1 teaspoon vanilla extract

     1 teaspoon cinnamon

     1 teaspoon nutmeg

     1 tablespoon rum (optional)




     -Heat the almond milk and egg in a saucepan, stirring continuously.

     -Take off the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and rum.

     -Allow the mixture to cool for 1 hour.

     -Pour the chia seeds in to a cup and add a dash of almond milk, leave for 10 minutes.

     -Combine the chia seeds with the mixture and mix well.

     -Put it into the fridge for 3 hours.

     -Spoon into small bowls or glasses and enjoy!

    Super Seasonal Roasted Vegetables December 10 2014


     Nothing beats a nice hot meal during wintertime, but it isn’t easy to come up with new recipes to try. If you’re  bored of the same old meals, try our delicious roasted vegetable recipe!





     -3 large carrots (sliced)

     -2 large onions (peeled and chopped into chunks)

     -4 large parsnips (Peeled and sliced)

     -6 garlic cloves

     -3 tbsp. rapeseed oil

     -3 sprigs rosemary

     -2 sprigs thyme

     -1 turnip (chopped in half and sliced)

     -3 large potatoes (diced)

     -Sea salt and ground pepper



     -Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius

     -Add the carrots, onions, parsnips, garlic, turnip and potatoes into a pan. (We recommend THIS)

     -Pour the oil over the vegetables.

     -Add the rosemary and thyme to the vegetables and season with salt and pepper.

     -Put into the oven for 40 minutes.

     -Serve and enjoy!

    Super Delicious Banana Bread December 05 2014


     Here at we love Banana bread, but unfortunately, we do not love the calorie content! Which  is why we have created our own healthy banana bread recipe perfect for a winter snack.





     -2 tsp baking powder

     -1 tsp pure vanilla extract

     -2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 5 tbsp water

     (available at

     -3 large ripe bananas

     -250g whole-wheat flour

     -Handful Cacao nibs

     (we recommend 

     -150ml almond milk

     -½ tsp cinnamon

     -50ml pure maple syrup

     -2 tsp sweetener



     -Preheat the oven to 150° Celsius.

     -Mix the flaxseed with the 6 tbsp of water and put to the side until gooey.

     -Mash the bananas in a bowl.

     -Whisk the flour, milk, flaxseed and baking powder in a bowl, then whisk in the cinnamon, sweetener, maple  syrup and vanilla extract.

     -Fold in the cacao nibs and banana.

     -Scoop the mixture into a pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until golden brown.

     -Poke the cake with a toothpick and if it comes out clean the cake is ready, if not, bake for longer checking  every 5 minutes.

     -Cut into slices and enjoy!




    Super Eleven's Homemade Cranberry Sauce November 27 2014


     This healthy Cranberry sauce is perfect for Thanksgiving!





     -Bag of cranberries

     -80g Pineapple or Orange juice

     -Juice and zest of 1 large orange

     -60g water

     -3 tablespoons pure Honey

     (We recommend

     -1 teaspoon cinnamon

     -2 teaspoon sweetener



     -Add cranberries, Pineapple or Orange juice and water into a pan and bring to the boil.

     -Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes.

     -Store in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

     -Take it out of the fridge and enjoy with your Thanksgiving dinner!



    Super Eleven's Feel Good Rainbow Salad November 19 2014


     Bring back the taste of summer with this delicious rainbow salad recipe!





     -1/2 iceberg lettuce

     -Handful cashew nuts

     -1 red bell pepper

     -1 yellow bell pepper

     -2 red onions

     -1 tbsp. chia seed

     -¼ red cabbage

     -1 tin drained sweet corn

     -1 beetroot

     -Reduced fat red pepper hummus

     -1 large tomato

     -1 can Red kidney beans

     -1 teaspoon sea salt

     -½ Lemon

     -3 garlic cloves 



     -Shred the lettuce and cabbage and place it into a large bowl. (We like this one)

     -Chop the peppers, onions, tomato and beetroot into small pieces and throw them into the bowl along with the  kidney beans and sweet corn.

     -Crush the garlic cloves and put them in the bowl, then squeeze the lemon on top.

     -Pour the cashew nuts and the chia seeds into the bowl and mix everything together.

     -Serve with a dollop of hummus on top!

    Super Strawberry Chia Seed Jam November 12 2014


     Follow our recipe to make your own super healthy strawberry jam!   





     -3 cups strawberries

     -2 ½ tablespoons chia seed

     (available at )

     -½ teaspoon sweetener

     -1 tablespoon water

     -½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

     -2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

     (available at )



     -Place your strawberries in to a large bowl and mash them using your fork.

     -Put them into a pan on low heat and add the water, vanilla extract and chia seed.

     -Take off the heat and mix in the maple syrup and sweetener.

     -Allow to cool and enjoy!



    Guilt-Free Hot Cocoa November 06 2014

     Warming up with a nice, rich mug of hot chocolate now the winter is coming is very tempting, but as we all  know hot chocolate is not the healthiest drink you can have. This is why at we have created  this delicious vegan and healthy recipe just for you!






      -3 teaspoons Raw Cacao powder

    (available at ,



     -200ml almond/hazelnut milk

    (We recommend and

     -50ml water

     -1 teaspoon vanilla extract


     -½ teaspoon sweetener





     -Combine the almond/hazelnut milk and water and heat for 3 minutes in a microwave or on the hob.

     -Pour in the Cacao powder, sweetener and vanilla extract.

     -Mix until all combined.

     -Pour into a mug and sprinkle cinnamon on top.

     -Sit back, relax and enjoy your hot cocoa!


    Terrifyingly Tasty Pumpkin Soup October 31 2014


     It’s Halloween, and all of us at can’t think of a better Halloween lunch than this delicious  Pumpkin soup! Super tasty and also dairy free!




     Serves: 6

     Calories per serving: 230




     1 pumpkin.

     2 large chopped onions.

     3 crushed garlic cloves

     2 teaspoons olive oil.

     2 pints vegetable broth.

     1 pint coconut milk.

     Salt and Pepper.

     2 tablespoons of sherry.

     1 teaspoon of cinnamon.

     1 teaspoon of ground allspice.

     2 tablespoons chia seed.



     -Remove the seeds and pulp from the pumpkin and discard. Cut the inside of the pumpkin out and chop it into  small pieces.

     -Heat the oil in the pan and then add the onion and garlic. Cook on a low heat for 10 minutes.

     -Add the pumpkin and 1 pint of vegetable broth. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring continuously.

     -Add the rest of the vegetable broth, cinnamon and ground allspice and simmer for 25 minutes.

     -Pour the soup into a blender and puree until it is a smooth consistency.

     -Put the soup back on to a low heat, season with salt and pepper and add the coconut milk. (add less if you  want a thicker consistency!)

     -Take the soup off of the heat and stir in the sherry.

     -Sprinkle the chia seed on top for a Superfood boost.

     -Serve and enjoy!

    Have a Super Spooky Halloween! October 30 2014


     Halloween is just around the corner and if you are anything like us at, you will be getting  ready to throw the most brilliantly horrifying party ever to have existed. We have put together a guide for  putting on a spooktacular party your guests will never forget!





     Halloween is all about the treats, but this doesn’t mean you have to be building up the calorie bank. Here are  some of our favourite snacks that will be a hit with your guests!

     Ghostly Bananas


     Terrifying Chips and Dips:

     Cut the top of a pepper off and carve a pumpkin face into it. Scoop out the insides and fill it with hummus.  Place it next to some baked tortilla chips and enjoy!


     Mummified Hot dogs:

     Roll some pastry out and cut it into to long, thin strips. Wrap the pastry around the hot dogs leaving a gap  roughly ¼ of the way down. Put in the oven on 180C for 15-20 minutes. Poke two holes in the gap between the  pastry for eyes!




     Witches Bellini brew:

     This delicious twist on the classic Bellini is a great way to kick-start your party (use lemonade instead of  Prosecco for a child friendly punch!) Blend 2 cups of raspberries in a food processor and pour into a large bowl  (or a plastic witches cauldron if you can get one!) Add 4 cups of red grapefruit juice and 2 bottles of Proscecco!


     Vampire friendly Blood Orange shots:

     Buy plastic test tube shot glasses from your local supermarket. Squeeze  the juice from 8 large Blood-Oranges.  Pour a little bit of a spirit of your choice (not essential!) in to the tubes and  top with the blood orange juice!  Disgusting and yet so delicious!



     Petrifying pumpkins: Halloween parties can be expensive, so to save money why not get all of your guests to  bring a pumpkin they have carved themselves and then have a prize for the spookiest one! Not only does it  save you money on decorations but it’s also great fun! Besides, who doesn’t love a good competition?!


     Wine chiller:

     Cut the top of your pumpkin off and scoop out the insides. Fill it with ice for the perfect Halloween wine chiller!

     Dracula’s castle:

     Mix red food colouring with water and pour it into different sized glass bowls and vases. Light some candles  and float them on top of the water for an eerie atmosphere.




     Eight legged haven:

     You can’t have a Halloween party without these classic little creepers! Place plastic spider onto tables and the  floor and hang plastic bats from the ceiling. Guaranteed to make your guests jump regardless of their age!

    Quinoa Stuffed Tomatoes October 28 2014


     Try these delicious stuffed tomatoes as a healthy snack or to accompany fish.

     104 calories





     4 large tomatoes

     1 cup uncooked Quinoa

     1 small red onion

     4 crushed garlic cloves 

     2 cups vegetable broth

     Teaspoon of olive oil



     -Preheat the oven to 180C.

     -Cut of the top of the tomatoes and scoop the seeds and pulp out.

     -Combine the quinoa and vegetable broth in a saucepan and boil on medium heat for 15 minutes or until the  broth has been absorbed.

     -Saute the onion and garlic in a saucepan with the olive oil.

     -Add the onion and garlic to the Quinoa.

     -Place the Tomatoes on to a baking tray and season with salt and pepper.

     -Stuff the tomatoes with the Quinoa.

     -Bake the tomatoes for 12 minutes.

     -Now for the most important step, dig in!

    1. Freshly popped popcorn with a sprinkling of sea salt. A Personal favourite of ours, this is a lot healthier than 

        microwaveable popcorn yet still just as delicious!





    2. Edamame beans drizzled with Soy sauce. A great snack for when you’re feeling peckish at your desk.





    3. Rice cakes topped with a scraping of almond butter. Tastes like sunshine in your mouth.

        (Well close enough anyway!)





    4. Houmous and carrot sticks. The best healthy alternative to chips and dip!






    5. A handful of cashew nuts. Tasty and a natural mood booster for when you’ve got those winter blues.
